Russell L. Goings
The cover of Tower Journal’s winter issue features MCS’ Class of 2012 in a digital poem based on The Children of Children Keep Coming. Russell Goings, author of The Children, visited the MCS library shortly after the book was published. A theatrical adaptation was captured on film by Stefan Blair (’12) and his father Nick. Goings’ re-telling of African-American history captured the imagination of poet and Tower Journal editor, Mary Ann Sullivan. Now available worldwide at the click of a mouse, this digital poem was chosen as a “Top 5″ creative idea by Design2Share.
