Nancy Hsu recently joined the Manhattan Country School staff as Parent Fundraising and Special Events Coordinator.
Nancy has a B.A. Barnard College, Political Science/International Relations. Prior to joining the development office, she helped start a nonprofit foreign policy organization for next generation leaders. During her tenure as Membership and Program Affairs Director, she created a foreign policy lecture series and an international exchange
program, established a membership base of over 200, and managed all fundraising activities.
Nancy’s interests include languages and international travel. In August 2010, she volunteered at an HIV/AIDS orphanage in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. (View an online gallery from the orphanage.) During the trip, she and her teammates helped build four playgrounds, ran a microfinance workshop, and provided dental care to over 150 children and staffers. Her dream is to become fluent in at least five languages (she is currently studying Arabic) and to visit every continent (Antarctica, Australia, and South America are next on her list).
